INTIMATE BABY SHOWER WITH FRIENDS & FAMILY

There's no one I love more on this earth than my sister. So when she got pregnant with her firstborn, Max, I wanted to give her a baby shower worthy  of all the brightness and love she exudes to everyone all around her. Since she lived in L.A., I got to take advantage of the amazing, CHEAP fabric and party supplies available in the fabric district of downtown Los Angeles. If ever you visit, I *highly* recommend stocking up on a few bolts of great prints.

THE SETTING

Finding a formal venue for a shower can be expensive. I strongly prefer a more intimate setting at someone's home. My sister's apartment complex had a beautiful common area we were able to reserve with a small deposit.

All the decorations were very affordable. I spent about $35 on all of the fabrics (reusable!) and $25 for the accessories - paper lanterns, pom-poms, and rubber duckies.

Divvy up a fresh bouquet of flowers from the grocery store (Costco has the best and cheapest) - put them in a few glasses and you're good to go!
